Why this course

This course provides swimming pool and spa professionals with a comprehensive introduction to hydraulics. Every pool and spa relies on water moving efficiently through its pump, pipework, filter and equipment. When the hydraulics aren't right, the effects show up everywhere, from poor circulation and filtration to noisy pumps, higher running costs and equipment that wears out early. Learners will cover the safety requirements and standards that apply to hydraulic work, and build a clear understanding of the principles that govern how water flows through a system. The result is a stronger foundation for installing, servicing and troubleshooting pools and spas with confidence.

Recognition of Prior Learning

This course aligns with key components of the CPP31218 Certificate III in Swimming Pool and Spa Service qualification, and can contribute towards your RPL evidence portfolio.
